Long time no see Xanga!

New England Patriots: OK, if you really want to nitpick, the Patriots took too many guys in this draft. With such a veteran team, it's going to be hard for more than five of the nine players they drafted to make the team. That aside, what the Patriots did in the draft was little short of brilliant. They came up with a much-needed safety in Brandon Meriweather. They also came up with an extra first-round pick next year in a trade from San Francisco. They also got a good possession receiver in Wes Welker for a second and seventh rounder. Finally, they got Randy Moss for a fourth-round pick. That's a stunning haul and further proof of why the Pats are way ahead of the pack in this stuff.
Grade: A+

Man now I have to like Randy Moss....oh well.

Cleveland Browns: OK, the trade for Brady Quinn was a little expensive. Giving up a first-round pick in 2008 could come back to haunt the Browns if it's a top-10 selection. However, that pick was probably going to be used on a quarterback next year. In that sense, the Browns are getting their quarterback a year earlier. To also get left tackle Joe Thomas thus makes this an extremely strong effort. Cornerback Eric Wright is a character risk, but he might be the most talented of anyone at his position in this draft. The rest of the picks are all solid prospects.
Grade: A-

Yes its official lil Hottie Brady is a Brown.

In other news, I am getting more excited for Tennessee as the days go by...(look at me quoting country lyrics). Jana has assured me that it will be lots of fun and that everyone is really nice, which is a relief considering Jason made me read "Culture Shock-The South".

Can't sleep

Can't breathe

Its all that occupies my thoughts

Why won't it go away

I already have demons and an illness that I'm battling....why this too

You decided, you turned me away

Yet, you show you feel it too

Why are you making me feel like this, isn't pain enough without restlessness

You are leaving, go, leave, stop making me care

Someone once told me that I dream about life too much, that I expect life to be a fairy tale or like in the movies where there is a princess/young girl full of ambition and dreams of what life could be but there is trouble for her. Either she has a wicked stepmother or she has an illness that could kill her. All she needs to save her is her true love's kiss. She dreams of her prince charming to come and rescue her from all the evil and corruption in her life. Now this person may have been right that I dont need a prince to come save me, just my faith in God and I'll be fine. But that doesnt mean I cant dream about life being like the movies....having some ruggedly handsome guy coming and sweeping me off of my feet when I least expect it, perhaps while I am reading "the Feminine Mystique" or an actually enlightening book. He will come and make life that much more grand than it is now. Right now life is great, good friends, good family, school is going good, I have high hopes for the future, going to be doing missions this winter and summer, still battling that illness though. So maybe it is ridiculous as this person once said to assume that life will all work out in the end...but maybe just maybe it will. And until my life ends I dont see any reason why I should stop dreaming out my prince to come add a sparkle to my glistening smile. Today I smiled and really felt joy, it was an amazing feeling. Life has been really hard lately and I dont feel like devulging all my awesomeness of crud on xanga but I will say this. I am so blessed to have the people surrounding me that I do. My friends, the ones that have stuck by me, really care about me. There are people that I have become close to in the past that in an instant left me cold and alone with no explanation and no remorse for stopping our friendship. But those that are still here are amazing and I cant imagine my life without them. I just look forward to the amazing life that I still have left to live and I will live it to the fullest.....dreaming the impossible and ridiculously ambitious whenever and wherever I can. Afterall, thats the charm of Sandy....she never gives up hope that someday the smile will return and the joy will be blooming.

IHOP '06 was amazing! I love that we did that on Wednesday night! But who knew that IHOP wasnt open 24 hours? Also Anne, bags do not equal hats! Jk I love you!

The concert last night was AH-MAZING!!!! I actually like MontyAreI and got a cd so I can rock out like a nerd. Anberlin was absolutely awesome. I was rocking in the pit hardcore! I was so disgusting afterwards though, and sore this morning but it was totally worth it! Story of the Year was actually awesome, last time I saw them they weren't that good but this time they were great! Their show was the funniest and most amusing show I have ever been to! They actually had a handstand competition during a hardcore show! Who does that? Also they played their old soft stuff that I absolutely love! I love a good hardcore band that can be screaming and crazy and still get soft and melodic as well. People had their lighters out and everything it was so stellar! They were playing on the bar, throwing chairs on stage, talking to people on people's cell phones, playing while sitting on rollie chairs, and everything else that is ridiculous at a show! It was ha-larious! I loved it! Chris actually held his own in his first pit I was impressed! Lacey of course also got her usual friendly pit greeting...hehe. Oh and Adam and I are having scene babies and they will be so cute! There were these kids at the show last night couldnt have been more than 10 but they were like rocking it out in the pit and wearing awesome band shirts, like good bands, and making fun of the crowd surfers, it was so precious! I cant wait for all the new stuff to come out and cant believe how awesome Anberlin was, truly awesome. What a great night to probably end my show going cause when they come out with their next album I will probably be too old to be cool in a pit, then again who knows. Here is to all my stress being gone and having an awesome night!
